Paleo Frozen Coffee

Summer just got better with this frozen coffee recipe. Growing up, I absolutely lived for iced blended coffees filled with sugary caramel sauce and chocolate syrup… but just thinking about it today gives me a stomachache. This Paleo Frozen Coffee is the perfect dairy-free, low-carb alternative: It’s packed with healthy fats to fuel your brain, superfood benefits from cacao powder, and a perfectly sweet taste that won’t cause a sugar crash.
Cacao is one of my favorite superfoods because, well, I’m a chocoholic. But aside from amazing taste, cacao has a ton of health benefits: raw cacao is high in antioxidants and is a great source of iron, magnesium, and calcium. It’s also been proven to boost moods! I can definitely say it’s a mood booster for me.
You can always make your own cold brew coffee to cut down on net carbs in your frozen coffee. If you do, add more Brain Octane and ghee to your recipe (ghee will not separate when added to iced drinks, as long as it’s gently melted before it hits the blender). For added flavor, you can also mix up your Paleo Frozen Coffee with different flavors of cold brew or top with whipped coconut cream for an extra-decadent treat.
Paleo Frozen Coffee
Start to Finish: 10 minutes
- 1 bottle Bulletproof Coffee Cold Brew, original flavor (or make your own cold brew)
- 2 cups ice
- 1 tablespoon Brain Octane Oil
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 2 teaspoons MitoSweet, or powdered stevia
- In a blender, add all ingredients except for ice and blend until incorporated.
- Add ice and blend again until mixture reaches a slush consistency.
- Pour into a glass or tumbler and enjoy!
