Ginger-Mint Green Tea Cooler

Refreshingly minty and pleasantly sweet, this Ginger-Mint Green Tea Cooler tastes complex, but comes together in no time. Use your favorite alternative sweetener here to keep it sugar-free. Ingredients:

  • 6 cups filtered water
  • 6 organic green tea bags
  • 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup organic fresh mint leaves
  • A low-glycemic sugar substitute like Stevia, to taste
  • Extra mint leaves and lemon or lime slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to boil in a medium pot. Turn off heat and add green tea bags, ginger and mint leaves. Steep for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain mixture and discard solids. Pour tea into pitcher. Add sweetener to taste. Chill. Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves and citrus slices.
