In the early 2000s, Dave Asprey discovered the unique energy boost from a cup of yak-butter tea in Tibet. Unlike typical tea or coffee, this sparked his mission to replicate that body and brain energy back in the U.S. Using grass-fed butter and MCT oil, he created Bulletproof Coffee for sustained energy.
In 2009, the recipe was shared on his blog and, with the click of a button, it ignited our journey to a brand focused on helping people nourish their minds and well-being using purposefully sourced, high-quality ingredients.
