Keto Raspberry Thyme Gin Fizz

Delightfully refreshing and oh-so-easy, this Keto Raspberry Thyme Gin Fizz is the perfect way to say Cheers! Make it a delicious mocktail by omitting the gin. Keep it low-carb with an alternative sweetener like a low-glycemic sugar substitute or monk fruit.

Ingredients:

  • 10 frozen raspberries
  • 3-4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup soda water
  • 1-2 oz. gin
  • a low-glycemic sugar substitute, monk fruit, or xylitol, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add raspberries and thyme to a glass and muddle at the bottom with a metal spoon to release flavoring.
  2. Cut a wedge off the lime and lemon, and squeeze the juice into the glass.
  3. Pour in a shot of gin (or omit this step for a tasty mocktail).
  4. Pour the soda water on top of the ingredients and stir with a spoon or metal straw.
  5. Optional: Add a touch of a low-glycemic sugar substitute, monk fruit or xylitol to enhance the sweetness.
  6. Garnish with lime or lemon, and enjoy!

Notes:

  • This can also be made into a cocktail pitcher by multiplying the recipe by four.
  • You can swap out the gin for vodka or white rum if preferred.
  • This recipe is paleo, keto and vegan-friendly.
