Redefining fat
Everyone needs a trusty fuel source to power up in the morning. Personally, I start my day by adding Bulletproof Brain Octane C8 MCT Oil to my coffee. While acclimating to my new life in the Big Apple, Bulletproof on-the-go products have become a major convenience factor. Life in the fast lane
On top of fueling with fats and recovering with collagen, I’ve been extremely dedicated to my intermittent fasting practice. In fact, I strive for 20-hour fasts, six days a week. The biggest thing I’ve noticed has been my overall sense of well-being.
Once I’m past the 12-hour mark, it’s incredible how much energy I get when my body isn’t busy working to process incoming food. Additionally, my mental clarity has spiked quite a bit; I feel way more productive in the gym and I’ve lost a good amount of weight getting me closer to my goal.
And, because fasting helps me enter the state of ketosis naturally, I also like to track if I’m in ketosis, so I check my blood sugar and ketones with a little finger-pricker every couple of days. Hands down, intermittent fasting has been an integral part of me achieving a state of ketosis—and staying there!

New goals, who dis?
My dietary goal for 2021 is to achieve 8% body fat at about 185 pounds. I’m 6-foot-three-inches, so I feel like that’s an ideal, lean size for me to be, while allowing me to feel my best and stay extremely active—especially as I head into my 30s in August!
I started my journey earlier this year at 213 pounds, and am down to 195 now, thanks to my diet and exercise practices. I feel like a different person, and I’m excited to keep the momentum going, thanks to the incredible Bulletproof tools I’ve discovered along the way!
