Introduction:
JDesignerPro is the design tool for Intranet developers who need an easy, cost effective system for building and deploying intelligent database applications.

JDesignerPro is a system for both the development and deployment of Intranet business applications, generally built over existing databases. It is not just another IDE. JDesignerPro gives you a way to quickly make interactive database applications in Java and deploy them over the Web - all in one comprehensive package.

JDesignerPro is also designed to reuse modules within new applications. This means a single Java program can be leveraged into many larger ones with no additional coding, saving you valuable development time.

Instant distribution. JDesignerPro is designed from the ground up to include the deployment structure as an integrated part of the development system. Integrated Deployment Structure and Access Control:

Access Control. BulletProof knows that system security is extremely important and JDP allows you to define detailed access control. Many levels of user access can be set. A database interface built with JDesignerPro will modify itself, according to the access level of the user logging in, allowing only authorized persons and groups into sensitive areas. Your data base is safe with a JDesignerPro interface.
Deployment and Menu Structure. Using JDesignerPro's Menu Maintenance area you have the ability to define a completely custom menuing structure. You can set up menus within menus and tabs as application screens. Each menu and application screen is assigned an Authorization Code. Only users with matching authorization codes will have access to that menu or application screen.

Code Generation:

Automatic Java code generation. When JDP creates a Java interface for access to your database, it also provides you with the Java code for the modules you create. JDP reuses proven Java classes, already tested and error-free. You can then modify and customize the generated code if desired.
Java Screen Layout Manager. JDesignerPro creates field layouts with double clicks of the mouse, like a wizard for Java. Since JDP lays screens out for you, it overcomes many of the screen layout problems with the Java AWT.
Generation of SQL. SQL statements for inserts, updates and selects are created as the fields are generated. You don't even type in field names. Simply browse your database tables using the JDP ODBC table navigator then click on the fields you want.

Intuitive Interface Development:

Remote or Local development. You need install JDesignerPro only on a single server to have multiple developers use it. Run the JDesignerPro builder either on that server machine or remotely through a browser. No IDE on the market will give you the ability to log in to your server using a browser and remotely develop. JDesignerPro is the only system with this feature..
Tab interface for rapid navigation around screens. Even with a large set of different data screens, the tabbing format used by JDP allows for quick movement from screen to screen and level to level. These tab classes are included as an integral part of JDP.
Grid feature. JDesignerPro includes a powerful grid class for viewing data tables and performing spreadsheet functions. This grid can be used like you would any other database table for fast browsing and updating.
Built-in filtering, sorting and searching classes. Handling of data lists is simple. These included classes for manipulating rows gives you immediate power over your data browsing.

Components Plus:

Java Charting. With BulletProof's Java chart wizard you can choose from a number of classic chart styles to look at your data.
Built in HTML Browser. JDP includes an HTML browser. HTML is a great way to link to Help text or time-sensitive instructions. Avoid having to hard-code Help and other text. Simply produce HTML pages for JDP to use.
E-mail Interface. With JDP's e-mail interface you can build e-mail windows on any screen. The e-mail is even variable-driven so user's names, e-mail address and other account information can be automatically put into the e-mail for quick sending.
